The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC), invited all area artists to participate in their Crooked River Plein Air Competition, to be exhibited at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center from August 1st – August 31st.

Crooked River Plein Air Exhibition

The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center Offered Area Artists the Opportunity to Participate in a Plein Air Competition with a $500 Prize

The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC), 2131 Front Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, invited all area artists to participate in their Crooked River Plein Air Competition, taking place from July 22nd – July 28th. The participant submissions will then be on display at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center from August 1st – August 31st with a select few traveling to the exhibition spaces within the Cuyahoga Falls City Hall.

Plein Air is a French term meaning outdoors and/or open air. It denotes a French style of impressionistic painting completed in an outdoor setting. The Crooked River Plein Air competition seeks to highlight Ohio’s Cuyahoga River and its watershed. Holding a Plein Air competition has been a tradition at CVAC for a number of years.
