ReWorks established an art and education program called cReate Works to encourage new and innovative perspectives toward “reduce, reuse, recycle.” The intention is that the art generated from this program be a catalyst to conversations about these topics to help educate the public. Each project challenges a group of artists to address a theme around the practices of reducing, reusing, and recycling and to create works in a variety of mediums.

This year’s project is “Reframing Recycling" with photography as its medium.
Selected artists will be asked to provide photographic images to represent their interpretation of the transformation of five categories of common recyclable materials during the recycling process.

This call for artists is open to all and there is no cost to apply.   Of those selected, a $250 stipend will be provided to each artist.  For more details, please visit the link in the following section.  This event is virtual and the deadline to submit is August 25, 2020.
