Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC) is delighted to announce its 39th Annual Juried Exhibition, scheduled to be displayed July 30 to September 5, 2024. This highly competitive exhibition will showcase a wide range of artistic talent across seven distinct categories for submission: Watercolor Media, Water-Based Media, Oil-Based Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, 3-Dimensional Media, and Photographic Media.
CVAC cordially invites artists to submit their works during the designated submission period:
Please note that an entry fee of $30 for CVAC Members and $35 for Non-Members will be required for up to two entries.
The juror will select which images are accepted into the exhibition as well as a ‘Best of’ category winner and up to 2 honorable mentions for each category. The Best of Category winners will be awarded a cash prize of $100.
What makes this exhibition truly interactive is the People’s Choice selection process. As patrons explore the gallery, they can take note of the artworks that resonate with them, evokes emotions, or sparks their imaginations. Their voice matters in determining the recipient of a People’s Choice Award for each category.
The winner’s of the People’s Choice Award will be announced during the Artists Reception of the 39th Annual Juried Exhibition held August 23, 2024, from 5:30 – 7 PM. This celebratory event offers patrons the unique opportunity to mingle with the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, and even purchase art. Admission to the reception is free, making it an accessible and enjoyable experience for all art enthusiasts.
The exhibition represents a highly competitive showcase of artistic prowess, and CVAC eagerly anticipates outstanding submissions from the community. For detailed entry information, please find the enclosed prospectus. Early submissions are encouraged.
