Dear Members of the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center,
We are excited to inform you that we will be hosting our annual Membership Exhibition from April 30 – June 6, 2024. Holding a yearly membership exhibition has been a tradition at CVAC for over 38 years. This exhibition is structured to our members’ advantage, arranged by media in 7 distinct categories for submission: Watercolor Media, Water-Based Media, Oil-Based Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, 3-Dimensional Media & Photographic Media.
CVAC will be accepting submissions on:
The entry fee is $30 for up to 2 entries
*2024 CVAC Members only *Artists can join CVAC and or renew their membership during the take-in
The juror (TBA) will select a Best of Category winner and up to two honorable mentions for each category. The Best of Category winners shall receive a cash prize of $100. A People’s Choice Selection process, starting April 30th, shall dictate a People’s Choice category winner for each category with a $50 cash prize, to be announced at the end of the Artist Reception on May 24 from 5:30 – 7 P.M. This reception is free to the public and the People’s Choice voting shall conclude at 6 P.M. with awards announced at 6:30 P.M.
This exhibition is highly competitive with over $1,000 in prizes awarded. We look forward to seeing what you will share with us. Entry information is enclosed. Early submissions will be accepted. Please visit our website and social media outlets for additional information.
