Holiday Show
November 18, 2017 to January 7, 2018

CALL TO ARTISTS:

As the winter solstice, the holidays and New Year approach, we look to celebrate art in all of its forms.

The Holiday Show showcases artisan-crafted jewelry, fiber arts, painting, photography, ceramics, glass and paper arts that celebrate the magic and beauty of the season or embrace the joy of the holidays.

The Show will be curated by Marianne Hite and Edna Ratner.

Eligibility: The Show is open to artists, 18 years of age and over.

Criteria: If a piece must be hung to be displayed, it must be ready for hanging. Each item submitted must be tagged with its sales price and the artist’s name, initials or logo. All artists will be required to enter into a consignment agreement and provide an inventory of items submitted to the Show and each item’s price. All items submitted to the Show will be for sale with 60% to the artist and 40% to the Academy.

Show Venue and Dates: Pieces selected for the Holiday Show will be displayed for sale beginning on November 18, 2017. Because items will be sold from the Show, we encourage artists to periodically check their inventory because we may need more items. The Show ends at 5pm on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

Reception: An opening reception honoring the founders of Peninsula Art Academy, Edna Ratner and Carol Adams, will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

Registration: Artists who wish to participate in the Holiday Show must complete this registration form and fill out our consignment agreement provided at PAA.

Artists must submit their items by 5pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

*Peninsula Art Academy reserves the right to limit the number and types of art it accepts.

Contact: For additional information please contact Marianne Hite or Edna Ratner at 330.657.2248.
