Cleveland Play House Directing Fellowship

Cleveland Play House, recipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award® and America's first professional regional theatre is offering a nine-month paid fellowship for an early-career director in the upcoming 2016-17 Season. Directing Fellow will receive a monthly stipend of $1,450 and a public transportation pass.

Opportunities include:

• Participating in season planning
• Directing at least one new play as part of a developmental workshop
• Working closely with the Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director
• Assisting associate artists and guest directors throughout the season
• Working as an integral member of the artistic team.

This is an ideal position for an up-and-coming director, with several years of post-school experience, who is looking to learn the operations of a large institutional theatre. Contract runs from August 15, 2016 to May 15, 2017. Application deadline is April 1.
