First Congregational Church of Twinsburg (9050 Church Street) is searching for an Organist. Salary $6000 - $8000.  Send letters of interest with resume to jonchrissterling@gmail.com

Description for organist at First Congregational Church of Twinsburg responsibilities below:  

-Lead/ accompany hymns during services
-Attend weekly choir rehearsal (during choir season)
-Accompany the choir during services
-Prepare solo selections for Prelude, Offertory, Communion, Postlude for services
-Work with Director of Music in conjunction with special events

Occasional & Special Events:

-Provide musical support for special events or services including but not limited to Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Maundy Thursday at the request and direction of the Director of Music
-Provide musical support for wedding and funeral services with reasonable additional compensation per church policy
-Perform other related duties as directed by the Pastor.

Schedule:

Choir Season: September – May(through Pentecost) 2 Thursdays per month: 7:30pm – 8:30pm

Choir Sundays (2-3 per month):

10:15am Choir warm-up; 10:30 Service

Non-choir Sundays:

10:30 Service

Rehearsal dates/ time may be reconfigured due to holidays, special occasions, or other major scheduling conflicts that occur throughout the year. (e.g. Ash Wednesday, the choir rehearsal will follow the worship service. Additional rehearsals maybe needed to meet the needs of the choir during the Christmas and Easter Seasons.)
