The Cleveland School of the Arts (CSA) is in need of an experienced stage manager for its annual Festival of New Works (funded by the CSA Board of Trustees).   The Festival of New Works features original works by CSA high school student playwrights, composers, filmmakers, poets, and dancers.

Responsibilities of the Stage Manager include:
• Participate in planning of all technical and performance elements of the Festival of New Works.
• Supervise all technical rehearsals for performance events (plays, dance pieces, musical performances, choreo-poems).
• Supervise Assistant Stage Mangers as they assist running technical rehearsals and performances of  performance events.
• Work closely with student artists and CSA staff and report to the co-producers of the Festival of New Works.

Rehearsal Dates and Times:
February 13, 2017 to March 6, 2017 (Monday through Saturday).  8:30 am to 5:30 pm.  (Note: This is the maximum  commitment.  Call times will vary depending on the day.)

Performance Dates:

School Shows:
Tuesday through Friday, March 7, 8, 9 and 10, 2017:  8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Public Shows:
Thursday and Friday, March 9 and March 10, 2017:  6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Saturday and Sunday, March 11 and 12, 2017:  12:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Planning meetings:
Mid-January, times TBD.

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
