Monument Lab is seeking a part-time designer with a broad range of skills and experience to support a variety of organizational and project-based design needs. Reporting to the Associate Director of Design, this position will work in close collaboration with Monument Lab’s design, communications, and project teams.

Responsibilities
Design templates for project proposals, one-sheets, presentation decks, brochures, business cards, signage and related informational and development collateral.
Design templates for communications and social media: Facebook and twitter banners, Instagram squares, and newsletter layouts.
Design graphics and signage for programs and events (virtual and in-person): zoom graphics, eventbrite graphics, and basic signage and wayfinding assets (sandwich boards, banners, tablecloths, and directional signage).
Assist with production of graphic assets, renderings, and mapping for project-based interventions and in support of research and communications teams.

Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (photo editing), Illustrator (graphics), and InDesign (print/typesetting).
Experience designing with data (visualizations/graphs/maps/etc)
Additional skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and 3D modeling a plus, but not required.
Ability to follow brand and identity guidelines closely and capable of improvising and experimenting where needed.
Ability to quickly adapt to the tone and audience of given projects as needed.

Position Type
Part-time (approximately 5-10 hours a week), independent contractor; $50/hr.
