Zoorific Career Days

Do you know a student who is interested in a career working with animals in a zoo setting? The Akron Zoo can help those students explore career opportunities by spending time with zoo professionals in the field of animal care, education and animal training.

• Open to 5-12th grade students (5th-8th graders in one session, 9th-12th graders in another)
• The program runs from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Cost is $35 per student for Akron Zoo members, $40 per student for non-Akron Zoo members
• Lunch is provided. Pre-registration required.

Activities include, but not limited to:

• Guest speakers
• Behind-the-scenes tour
• Observing animal training
• Animal encounters
• Animal feedings
