2nd Friday Art Hop in Hudson

The May Art Hop will celebrate budding artists on Friday, May 13, from 5-8pm at more than 20 locations around town. Come on out and help us encourage the creative growth of our wonderful students.

The May Art Hop will celebrate budding artists on Friday, May 13, from 5-8pm at more than 20 locations around town. Come on out and help us encourage the creative growth of our wonderful students.

Artwork from students at Hudson High School, Seton Catholic School, Hudson Middle School and Western Reserve Academy will be on display along with several professional artists and instructors. You’ll even have the chance to learn some new skills yourself!

Other featured artists include Kent State University student Sumeda Madhuri at Live.Dream.Create and jewelry artist Elizabeth Miyajima at Fair Trade on Main, which will be celebrating World Fair Trade Day. J. McLaughlin will host Gretchen Bierbaum, National Collage Society president. Mary Catherine Haneline Studio will feature her students’ work.

Hop on over to The Red Twig to learn first-hand about the Japanese art of kokedama, a sculptural art form of plants and moss. Cost for the class is $30 and pre-registration is required at ... view more »
