Akron Postcard Club: Bonnets, Bunnies, and Baskets – Oh My!

Explore the history of Spring imagery and iconography with guest host Christina Getrost!

Spring is here at the Akron Postcard Club! From bunnies to bonnets to floral arrangements, vibrant and cheerful imagery has long been associated with the arrival of Spring. We’ll explore the history of this imagery with guest host Christina Getrost, who will lead us through some of her favorite postcards in the David P. Campbell Postcard Collection. Whether you’re a longtime member or first-time attendee, this meeting is sure to help you beat the late-winter blues.

PARKING INFO

Free parking is available in the lot directly adjacent to the building. This lot contains a dedicated accessible parking spot near the museum entrance.

Free parking is also available in Lot 30 at the corner of College and Market streets, which contains several accessible parking spaces.

Metered parking is available along South College Street. Pavement from Lot 30 and metered parking may be uneven, and people with limited mobility should exercise caution.
