The School of Music is excited to collaborate with NCCAkron tomorrow, February 23 in an interactive workshop at 12:55 p.m. in Guzzetta Hall Studio 194.
“Cypher Classic” is a workshop between dancers and musicians that encourages real-time collaboration. Through guided activities, participants will gain awareness of each individual’s aesthetic as they rely on their technique, composition, respective vocabularies and improvisation. The workshop is being facilitated by BRKFST Dance Company, a St. Paul, MN-based collaborative ensemble of breakdancers that often work with symphonies and orchestras.

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
