Richard Linklater follows his highly acclaimed films Boyhood and Before Midnight with a pure delight, this “spiritual sequel” to Dazed and Confused. Set in the world of 1980s college life, Everybody Wants Some!! follows a group of friends navigating their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood. Everybody Wants Some!! captures the essence of all sorts of youthful desires, both those that are easily identifiable and the more aching, unnameable kind.
