Cleveland-based FM Project plays the music of Steely Dan. Since forming in 2012, the 9-piece FM Project has packed Northeast Ohio venues with an instantly recognizable and admired song list, and high-energy, spot-on performances from some of Northeast Ohio’s most accomplished and seasoned musicians.
There is nothing else like the music of Steely Dan. With more than 40 years of worldwide acclaim and 30 million album sales, the Grammy award-winning 2001 Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductees remain one of pop music’s most popular and highly regarded acts.
Blending elements of rock, jazz, funk, R&B and pop with complex jazz-influenced structures and harmonies, their songwriting, musicianship and unique charisma are unparalleled.
Please note that this is done in a Cabaret Setting, where the audience and the performer are together on the beautiful Akron Civic Stage
