Free Plant Giveaway: Educational Discussion

The newly reformed Summit Of Sustainability Alliance is working hard on the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Life On Land, Sustainable Cities and Zero Hunger through an organization to organization spring Free Plant Giveaway! Come learn about how your Summit County area business, nonprofit, educational institution, or government agency can get free plants to either assist in creating more native habitat, help our region reach its tree canopy goals, and/or create sustainable food sources through food forestry. This educational program and plant giveaway are free to any Summit County regional business, nonprofit, educational institution, and government entities. Lunch will be provided! Local organizations currently involved include: The City of Akron, Summit County, City of Cuyahoga Falls, The Akron Zoo, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Summit Metro Parks, Community Life Collaborative, Summit Soil and Water, University of Akron Sustainability Engineering Students, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Kent State College of Business, Keep Akron Beautiful, Summit Food Coalition, Summa, Sierra Club Portage Path Group, The Big Love Network, and more.
