Hot Glass Demos

Free glassblowing demos, meet local businesses, and make a glass flower!

The event will feature outdoor glassblowing demonstrations on the Akron Glass Works loading dock with seating in the parking lot. There will also be displays by local organizations including Habitat for Humanity of Summit County’s Neighborhood Network. Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase. The event can be moved into The Sanctuary at Akron Glass Works in the case of rain.
During the Hot Glass Jam, participants will have an opportunity to make a glass flower for a special event price of $35 per person. Spaces are limited, must be at least 15 years old, and pre-registration is required at akronglassworks.com.
