Shane Wynn picked up her first camera when she was 13 and her junior high school bedroom was wallpapered with black and white photographs from magazines. It was only appropriate she became a photographer. She’ll discuss her path of carving out her own career in photography over the last 27 years. She contributes her ability to succeed to being both stubborn as hell in some regards and immensely flexible in others. She has been intensely motivated by what people say she CAN NOT do but also very willing to photograph practically ANYTHING knowing that any experience with a camera in hand builds her skills. She’ll discuss how to make it up as you go.

Valet parking is available Monday through Saturday until 11PM, or you can take advantage of FREE parking across the street in the Summit County Public Library parking deck. The parking deck entrance is located on High Street, just South of East Market, and directly across from the Akron Art Museum.
