Presented by North Hill CDC as part of their Maker Mondays series.
Join other makers and creative people to learn about Huichol yarn painting. This “painting” style with yarn comes from the Huichol Indian people living in western Mexico in the Sierra Madre mountain range. The colorful yarn paintings traditionally depict Huichol myths and ceremonies, but modern works can represent stories of today’s world.
