Join NCCAkron this spring for Inside the Dancer’s Studio, a live conversation series with choreographers from around the country. These virtual lunchtime talks explore creativity, craft, and career, and are free and open to all!
Join us on Friday, Mar. 5 for the fourth of our 2021 “Inside the Dancer’s Studio” conversations!
This series of free lunchtime talks with dance makers explores creativity, the craft of choreography, and navigating an artistic career. All talks take place virtually on Fridays at 12:30 PM ET.
On Friday, Mar. 5, we’re joined by choreographer (and former Distinguished Professor in Dance at The Ohio State University) Bebe Miller!
Bebe Miller (Mar. 5) has a vision of dance and performance that resides in her faith in the moving body as a record of thought, experience, and beauty. Her aesthetic relies on the interplay of a work’s idea, its physicality, and the contributions of company members to fashion its singular voice. Seeking to expand the language of dance, Bebe Miller Company’s work encompasses choreography, writing, film, video and digital media. Committed to keeping dance available to a wide spectrum of people and to further the conversation about the role of arts and creativityView more
