Molière's SCAPIN

Presented by Ohio Shakespeare Festival at Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Greystone Hall, Akron OH

Mar 02 - 18 2018
Molière's SCAPIN

A knee-slapping comedy from the grandfather of farce–SCAPIN will have you crying with laughter.

We bring to the Henry C. Bishop Stage the grandfather of comedy: Molière.  Two young lovers fall in love with two penniless and beautiful women.  Their old fathers won’t agree to anything but a lucrative match. Enter Scapin, the crafty servant, who can scheme his way into (and out of) any situation…especially when there is money involved.  If you love Shakespeare’s funniest scripts, we guarantee you’ll love Molière…maybe more!
