Visit the Cummings Center’s National Museum of Psychology on Friday, April 26 to enjoy a free performance from The University of Akron School of Music’s Rocky Candy Chamber Orchestra!

Visit the Cummings Center’s National Museum of Psychology on Friday, April 26 to enjoy a free performance from The University of Akron School of Music’s Rocky Candy Chamber Orchestra! The group will perform directly in the museum, allowing visitors to enjoy classical music while surrounded by the artifacts and stories that make up the history of psychology.

All visitors will receive complimentary admission to the National Museum of Psychology during this free event.

About the Rock Candy Chamber Orchestra
The Rock Candy Chamber Orchestra is a multidisciplinary chamber ensemble that meets once a week to study and perform chamber orchestra music as well as small ensemble quartets and quintets. The group performs classical as well as other genres of music at University of Akron events, and off-campus at weddings, celebrations, and community gatherings.

PARKING INFO

Free parking is available in the lot directly adjacent to the building. This lot contains a dedicated accessible parking spot near the museum entrance.

Free parking is also available in Lot 30 at the corner of College and Market streets, which contains several accessible parking spaces.

Metered parking is available along South College Street. Pavement from Lot 30 and metered parking may be uneven, and people with limited mobility should exercise caution.
