Join us for an interview with artist, Isabel Farnsworth at the Bit Factory on Saturday, September 23 at 6 pm. MUwDV is an artist interview series in which Volk asks artists questions while they create art on his face using everyday makeup. Danny’s face is revealed at the end of the interview, creating a fun and exciting climax to the informative conversation. Local band Comfort Clouds will be playing before each live Akron interview.
Isabel Farnsworth received her BFA in painting from Tyler School of Art in 1989, attended Skowhegan School of Art and received her MFA in Sculpture from Stanford University in 1995. She has done residencies at The Glassell “Core” Program in Houston, The Rijksacademie Von Beelden Kuntz in Amsterdam, and the Cite’ International des Arts in Paris. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Sculpture at Kent State University.
