My Recovery from Chronic Lyme Disease

Presented by Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library at Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, Stow OH

Jun 09 2020
My Recovery from Chronic Lyme Disease

After nearly a decade of struggling with chronic Lyme, CFS, and autoimmune disease, Holly Chameli found her way back to health using food as her medicine.

Join us as Holly shares how she went from a healthy, active mother of two to gravely sick overnight. The mysterious illness that hijacked her life rendered her bedridden for two years and disabled for the better part of a decade. She was ultimately diagnosed with Lyme disease, CFS, and various autoimmune conditions. Medical doctors offered little help aside from prescription medications that made her feel worse. In desperation to find a cure, Holly turned to food and natural remedies for relief. To her surprise and against the odds, she healed her own body. Copies of her book, The Healer Within, will be available for purchase.

About the speaker: Holly Chameli studied Journalism at The Pennsylvania State University and received her Juris Doctor at The State University of New York School of Law. She currently resides in Ohio with her husband and two children. Holly is a passionate writer, lawyer, and health advocate.
