Standing Rock Cultural Arts Presents Sidewalk Cinema Love and Monsters

Standing Rock Cultural Arts presents their monthly Sidewalk Cinema event with a free screening of the 2020 film “Love and Monsters.”

For the monthly Sidewalk Cinema series, Standing Rock Cultural Arts and Downtown Kent businesses presents the 2020 film Love and Monsters on Friday, August 27th, 2021 beginning at dusk. The screening will be at the outdoor Hometown Bank Plaza, located at the corner of Main and Water Streets in Downtown Kent, Ohio. The event is free and open to the public. Make sure to bring a lawn chair and/or a blanket!

Seven years after the Monsterpocalypse, Joel Dawson (Dylan O’Brien), along with the rest of humanity, has been living underground ever since giant creatures took control of the land. After reconnecting over radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick), who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony, Joel begins to fall for her again.
