The Miracle Worker

The Miracle Worker is an inspiring story of how Anne Sullivan, a lonely teacher, breaks through daunting barriers to communicate with a blind, deaf, and mute child – the wild and willful Helen Keller.

The Miracle Worker is an inspiring story of how Anne Sullivan, a lonely teacher, breaks through daunting barriers to communicate with a blind, deaf, and mute child – the wild and willful Helen Keller. A longtime classic, The Miracle Worker is a stirring testament to love and perseverance.

The incredible story of Sullivan and Keller’s journey has been told in numerous productions of The Miracle Worker via stage, cinema, and television. Director Dennis O’Connell states “What a play. It is not only historical, it is personal. It speaks to the timeless humanity of inclusion and access, communication and language, striving and sacrifice.”
