With screenings at some of our favorite downtown locations and with a diverse lineup of sensational films, Cinema in the City offers an opportunity for the Akron community to come together and experience cinematic magic under an open sky.

As Akron’s non-profit independent cinema, The Nightlight is all about bringing our city together and making art house cinema more accessible for everyone. Cinema in the City is no different — it’s about celebrating community, creating cherished memories, and immersing yourself in the world of film in the heart of Akron.
