The Nightlight Under the Stars screening "Miles Ahead"

The Nightlight Under the Stars along with Curated Storefront and Rubber City Jazzfest present an outdoor screening of “Miles Ahead” on Friday September 9th in conjunction with the Summit Artspace Artwalk. Directed by and starring Don Cheadle, Miles Ahead features Akron’s own Theron Brown portraying the great Herbie Hancock! The 2015 film exploring the life and music of Miles Davis will be shown under the stars at 8pm, Outside the Box in TrueNorth Akron, 110 N. Main Street, located in Akron’s NorthSide District. An intro to the film by Theron Brown will take place before the screening. Bring a blanket, chairs and snacks to enjoy an evening of art in Akron. The screening is free to attend but is rated R and not suitable for those under 17.
