The Twelve Dates of Christmas

Presented by Rubber City Theatre at Summit Artspace, Akron OH

Dec 04 - 19 2015
The Twelve Dates of Christmas

The Twelve Dates of Christmas follows the tumultuous dating exploits of the play’s main character Mary. After seeing her fiancé kiss another woman at the televised Thanksgiving Day Parade, Mary’s life falls apart — just in time for the holidays. Over the next year, she stumbles back into the dating world, where “romance” ranges from weird and creepy to absurd and comical. It seems nothing can help Mary’s growing cynicism, until the charm and innocence of a five-year-old boy unexpectedly brings a new outlook on life and love.

In keeping with Rubber City Shakespeare Company tradition, the run opens with a Pay-As-You-Like-It performance on December 4. Pay-As-You-Like-It performances are free to the public; No ticket purchase is necessary, but donations are gratefully accepted. The production runs Thursday through Sunday until December 19. Thursday through Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees begin at 2 p.m.
Mature audiences only.
