Trails ‘N’ Rails

Trails-N-Rails is a family focused, fun event with something for all ages.

South Street Ministries is excited to invite you to be a part of our annual “Trails N Rails,” a fun, informative and impactful community event that provides a morning of exercise and enjoyment for the entire family while raising funds to support a ministry that is changing the lives of today’s South Akron community. Support the programs of Bike Shop, Studio, RICH Kids, Reentry, and The Front Porch.

There are three elements to the event:

1. Family Fun Ride

  • Route will start at Cascade Park then follows the towpath trail north to Botzum train stop (approx. 6.1 miles)
  • Helmets Required!

2. Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

  • Load up your bike and take the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Train
  • Ride south back to our picnic on this wonderful train through the National Park!

3. Picnic Carnival

  • Lunch served as well as activities for kids

Events begin promptly at 9am at Cascade Park
