Get up close and personal with Sexology magazine on a free tour of the Cummings Center’s Sexology: Science & Sensationalism exhibition! Education and Outreach Coordinator Tony Pankuch will lead visitors through the exhibition, sharing stories about the magazine’s editors and contributors and exploring its coverage of topics like reproductive health, sex work, gender identity, and sexual orientation. After the tour, visitors are optionally invited to browse original issues of Sexology magazine from the Archives of the History of American Psychology, taking a hands-on deep dive into the magazine’s varied contents.

Each tour will take approximately 40 minutes, after which visitors will have an additional 20 minutes in the archives to browse the magazine, discuss, and ask questions.

This event is part of The University of Akron Women’s Studies Program’s 2023-2024 Rethinking Gender series.

Limited space is available for this tour and registration is required.
