Virtual Civic Saturday

Around our country and the world, we are in the midst of a collective experience. Let’s take an hour next Saturday to be together and make sense of this time – to embrace our responsibility and rededicate ourselves to the practice of being powerful citizens.
“We tell stories. We have so many narrative templates in our heads and hearts. All these fables have morals. We tell and retell them, we work and worry them, because they reinforce our sense of rightness or victimhood or destiny or duty. We tote these tales with us as we live our lives. In fact, we live our lives by them, of them, for them.” – from Eric Liu’s last civic sermon

What story are we creating? At Civic Saturday, we are creating a story of power and mutuality – a story where we work together because we know that we’re all better off when we’re all better off. We invite you to be part of it.
