Virtual Dance Club with NCCAkron

No dancing required! Attend a virtual event to watch dance online together and participate in an informal discussion to deepen your own engagement and understanding of dance and develop your critical lens.

Join NCCAkron’s Virtual Dance Club!

Based on our in-person Dance Club that occurred in 2018, VDC will continue the goal of cultivating curiosity in individuals who have little to no experience with dance.

Participants in this free event will watch dance online together, and then participate in an informal discussion to deepen their understanding of and engagement with dance — and develop their own critical lens.

There are no dumb questions and no wrong answers at Virtual Dance Club… and you don’t have to dance. The only prerequisite is curiosity!

Enrollment for our July and August dates is now open! July 23 & 24 will be a REPEAT of our May and June “Intro to Virtual Dance Club,” and is ideal for first-timers — although we’ll welcome you whenever you can join us.
