Ring in the New Year at the first-ever Zoo Year’s Eve at the Akron Zoo – perfect for the whole family!
Celebrate the new year at the stroke of noon as we drop a ball “zoo-style” to ring in 2019! The entire zoo will be open extended hours of 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for guests to explore and visit with animals. Activities will be available from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., such as various crafts, live music, a resolution wall and animal encounters. Special appetizers and adult and kid-friendly beverages will be available for purchase.
