The Loop In Copley grew out of the Copley Circle Advisory Board (CCAB), a group of residents who came together in 2015 with a shared interest in breathing new life into the historic center of the township. The newsletters sent by the CCAB, intended to keep people informed about what the group was up to, evolved into a way of also keeping people informed about what local businesses and other community organizations were up to.

In 2018, The Loop In Copley became the official continuation of all the CCAB created, keeping people informed and supporting the local businesses of Copley Township through events and other community engagement opportunities.
