Once labeled as “stoner surf,” Seafoam Tsunami rips through each song – including adding ethereal melodies and surfadelic structures. Musician bio:
Our drummer has completed his studies in music theory and drum performance at the University of Mt. Union, OH. Our rhythm guitarist did his studies online via Berklee and he studied under local Akron greats such as Dean Newton (UA Jazz department head), James Marron (UA classical), and Rob Metz (Akron area shred guitarist). Our lead guitarist has recorded with local legend, Jim Ballard, and he has surfed from the west coast all the way to the east coast. Finally, our bassist has played the many mountain resorts of Colorado before moving to Ohio to join Seafoam Tsunami. Seafoam Tsunami is sure to keep the beat, the groove, and the tune!
