Deck the Hall

Deck the Hall featuring Dazzle and Gingerbread Land is Stan Hywet’s annual Christmas celebration. There are 800,000 lights inside and out illuminating the historic estate.

Deck the Hall is Stan Hywet's annual evening holiday event on select evenings, 5-8pm from Nov. 27, 2015 – Jan. 2, 2016. It has become a family tradition for many! Santa lights the Christmas tree at 5:30pm in the Courtyard. New this year is an animated old-fashioned department store holiday window showcasing downtown Akron at dusk. The Manor House is decorated inside (with a theme of Home for the Holidays) and out with dramatic lighting. There are 800,000 lights throughout the estate, including the all new Dazzle light show and Playgarden "dressed up" for Christmas as Gingerbread Land. There is also seasonal music by area musicians and choirs  designed to put all guests in the holiday spirit as they tour the Manor House.  Delectable treats are for sale in the Courtyard, including cocoa and hot gingerbread and hot Bavarian pretzels and wine and beer. Molly's  Shop is stocked with unusual gifts for everyone on your holiday list.
