Mutton Hill Quilt Show showcases the amazing talents of local quilters featuring works of art with fabric and thread. The pieces will inspire and surprise you! Join us to also see 30 of the most contemporary quilts in the world from Quilt National ’15, an internationally juried show, in Akron.
The Mutton Hill Quilt Show features quilts of amazing art and design, vendors of notions and fabric, lectures and quilt appraisal opportunities. Held at the John S. Knight Center October 16 – 18, 2015, prepare to be inspired and amazed by the quilts on display in 22 categories exhibited by quilters throughout Ohio, Indiana, Colorado and Oregon. The Society is also pleased to bring Quilt National ’15 to Akron for the weekend. A portion of this internationally juried show is a special exhibit from the Dairy Arts Barn and includes works from Wooster, Ohio, numerous locations across the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. Most lectures are free. There are fees for special lectures including Downton Abbey: the Roaring 20s ($20) and Jazzy Threads – Sulky International ($10).
