The sights, sounds, and magic of 1930s Akron come to life again in The Akron Nutcracker: A Holiday in the Rubber City, presented by the Dance Institute at The University of Akron. Join us on Saturday, November 6 for a special pop up performance at the Cummings Center’s National Museum of Psychology and Institute for Human Science and Culture. Dancers will perform excerpts from The Akron Nutcracker, providing a free sneak peek of the upcoming ballet.
The Akron Nutcracker premieres December 16th at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, with an additional performance on December 17th. Learn more and reserve your tickets here.

Free parking is available in the lot directly adjacent to the building. This lot contains a dedicated accessible parking spot near the museum entrance.
Free parking is also available in Lot 30 at the corner of College and Market streets, which contains several accessible parking spaces.
Metered parking is available along South College Street. Pavement from Lot 30 and metered parking may be uneven, and people with limited mobility should exercise caution.
