Five exhibitions open at Summit Artspace on Friday, April 5 from 5-8 p.m. showcasing a diverse group of local artists in five galleries throughout all 3 floors of the historic building.

Five exhibitions open at Summit Artspace on Friday, April 5 from 5-8 p.m. Spring Exhibitions will be on view Fridays noon – 7 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. through June 15.

Summit Artspace’s Spring Exhibitions Opening Night will showcase a diverse group of local artists in five galleries throughout all three floors of the historic Akron building. The event provides a wonderful opportunity to meet exhibiting artists, hear their stories, and engage with the community.
The AoRC Juried Exhibition Awards will be announced in the Forum Gallery at 6 p.m.

Happiness & The End of the World | Matt Miller
An exhibition of new works by Akron artist Matt Miller seeks to balance the positives and negatives inherent in human experience. Paintings and multimedia works explore themes of life, death, love, loss, and growth. The vibrant pop and psychedelic aesthetic in Miller’s work is grounded by his fascination for nature, mythology, and folklore.
