Stan Hywet's 2023 Season

Aerial view of the Manor House, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens

Stan Hywet opens on April 1, 2023 with an exhibit in the Manor House on dating and relationships, and a variety of public programs throughout the season.

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens will open on April 1, 2023 with an exhibition on dating and relationships.  How did each of the Seiberling family members meet their spouse? Did they date anyone before they were engaged?  Was every marriage in the family a happy ending?  The exhibit, staged throughout the first and second floors of the Manor House, will explore many of these questions using family photos, historic letters and information from the time period.  How did people date in 1915?  The exhibit will include panels which invite the visitor to decide which Seiberling they would be the most compatible with and give the public a chance to read some of the love letters written by different family members.
