Christopher Harvey

A native of Akron, Ohio, Chris Harvey is a 30-year-old father, veteran, and graphic designer. Chris served in the Ohio Army National Guard from 2007 to 2013 and was deployed to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt from 2009 to 2010 for a peacekeeping mission. After leaving the military he began working security jobs in the banking and armored car industry and eventually at an Art Museum. Chris studied Graphic Design Cuyahoga Community College from 2016-2018. From 2018 to 2019 Chris worked as the Design Manager for the @Play project a Knight foundation grant winner which focused on interactive art and neighborhood community building. In December of 2019 Chris was included in The Akron Art Museum and the Summit County Public Library Art Library. Chris’s hobbies include hiking, bicycling and making art.
