My love for textiles and color grew over my 20 year career as a Buyer for several major department stores.  11 years ago I found a Japanese pattern book for kiss lock bags –that I couldn’t read.  But I speak pattern making and sewing machine, so I figured it out. Those little framed kiss lock coin purses are the heart of my business.   Since then I’ve sent bags to over 27 countries and 48 out of 50 states.

My business has now grown to include contemporary sizes and shapes.  In 2019 I adopted a new goal, to assist in the reduction of textile waste from the fashion and home goods commercial industry.  I now produce a segment of my line that is entirely made from remnants and offcuts, helping me to reduce waste in my small business.   Each bag is designed and handmade in my workshop in Fairlawn, OH by me.  Post pandemic, I will return to local on site events, until then you can follow me on facebook to find out about virtual events.
