Laurel Winters

Laurel Winters received her BFA and MFA degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University. She believes strongly in the sacred principle of the interconnected web of life and living in harmony with all creation.

For almost the past decade, Winters’ work has been about the environmental crisis our planet faces.  This most recent body of work focuses on the earth and her spirit Gaia struggling to survive the assault of humanity.

Winters’ hopes that her work will help raise awareness and action to repair the damage that has already been done and that can hopefully be reversed if everyone works together.
