Fred Pierre

I am a multimedia artist working in the digital space to craft abstract images that incorporate nature and geometric forms. I enjoy printing to canvas and stretching it on a flat or curved frame, with backlighting when possible to create a lightbox. I’m interested in bio-mimicry, which incorporates nature and appropriate technology to find efficient and sustainable solutions to environmental problems. I incorporate my own photos and found photos in my digital collages, which I composite with geometric forms to produce op-art imagery.

I’m a published writer, with work appearing in Tiny Seed Journal, High Shelf Press, X-RAY, Culinary Origami, Jawbone, OvertlyLit, Expat, Punk Monk, Poet’s Choice, and other literary magazines. I’ve written a collection of short stories called Capital Disrupt that satirizes bureaucracy and mocks artificial intelligence while celebrating the everyday heroes that find clever workarounds to subvert the system.
